Hallmark Summer Nights Month Preview

That's right. Well, today we're going to be previewing the four movies coming up on Saturday nights in the month of June of 2026 for Hallmark Summer Night Series. Summer nights. Can you believe it? June. We're halfway through the year. Oh my goodness. You know what's next. Christmas in July. But we're focused on summer nights. Summer nights first. I am so ready for warmer weather. We live in an area where it was 90 degrees one day and then 50 the next. Yep. In like May. So we're just so over it. I'm ready for beach weather. Right. Now I'm sure there'll be a point. I'll be complaining about the hot, hot weather. But right now, I'm just ready for, you know, I'm ready for summer nights. Not just the movies, but in general, I'm ready for summer weather. I know. There have been a couple nights where we just wanted to sit out on the porch, but it's been kind of chilly and windy. Yes. Yes. We're not quite there yet, unfortunately, but we'll get there. We'll get there. All right. So you ready to dive in? Let's do it. Let's do it. Premiering

The Greek Isle Setup And Vibe

on Saturday, June 6th, the very first summer nights movie, The Greek Isle. And I need to add that Isle is spelled A-I-S-L-E. See what they did there. You see what they did there. This one stars Nikki Deloche and Apostolis Tatski. Tatsikas? Tatsikas. Sorry if I mispronounced the name. Nikki, of course, is a Hallmark staple. And we just saw her in True Justice, Eye for an Eye. Very good. Thoroughly enjoyed. You can go listen to our podcast review. This is Apostolis' Hallmark debut, which is very exciting. And there um there wasn't a writer or writers or director listed yet as of this recording. Right. So we will fill in that information when we do the podcast review. There you go. All right. The synopsis. When Georgia travels to the Greek island of Corfu to finalize an inheritance, she unexpectedly discovers that marrying her handsome co-inheritor is the only way to meet the requirements. Oh wow. What do you think about this one? Oh my goodness. I don't know. I think it sounds kind of fun. And we've seen at this point, we haven't we've seen like uh Hallmark released a trailer of all the summer nights movies together, so it's been like a real brief glimpse of things, but we were able to see the trailer to this one, and it it looks really cute. Yeah, it does. And what a perfect backdrop in Greece. In Greece, you know, yes. Yeah, not too shabby. Not too shabby. What a job, man. No, that would be great. And apparently, you know, in the hallmark world, the moral of the story is if you're a female, go to a foreign country, go to Italy, go to a romantic country, and you will find the man of your dreams. There you go. Now, this one, this one looks really cute. I would imagine it was probably shot in Greece. I did not look that up, but I would have to believe they actually shot it on location. So that's always cool too. Well, it's Nikki DeLoch. So come on. So probably a buddy. Yeah. So I'm kind of excited to see that one. I think it looks cute. Yeah, me too.

Texas Two Step Poster And Plot

So moving on to the next summer nights movie is Texas Two Step, which premieres Saturday, June 13th. And this one stars Heather Hemons and Brendan Penny. And boy, man, do they make it look easy when they act in? I think it's a great pairing. Oh, it it is. It's a really good pairing. But you know what? Halmart's been doing pretty good this year, 2026, in pairing these actors together. Um, we last saw Heather in uh 2025's The Snow Must Go On. And I love how they use these. I love the titles of the that was a good, yeah. And you know, Brendan, he was in the series Chesapeake Shores. Yeah. Which oh I loved that one too. Oh, Andreet Williams. Uh we last saw him in two 2025 Christmas movies, The More the Merrier and Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper, which he played a fun part in that one. He really did. He was funny. Yeah, that was really good. No writer or director has been listed yet, boo, that we can find. Right. So the synopsis for this one is um Olivia. Olivia returns to Texas to help her aunt in her country music bar that's falling on hard times and reconnects with Luke, her childhood sweetheart turned cowboy. And her passion for dancing. And I read Olivia because I just realized it was typed wrong Olivia. I know. I was like, mm-hmm okay. I was like, uh what had happened was I meant to type Olivia. Is it typo? I was like, is that Olive? Olivia's? No. Well, I I guess it could be, yeah. I have to double check that. Sorry, that's my fault. So so what do you think about this one? You you think this one's gonna be interesting? I have to say that the movie poster was released, I think I I don't know if it's been a week or two ago now when I first saw it, and it is absolute fire. Yeah, they did Hallmark did such a good job on the I love it's like the the neon sign kind of, and you have Heather and Brendan on the front, and they're it's it looks so good. So getting back to the actual story, sorry. Um, because you know the posters don't always bring it, but this one definitely, definitely brings it. Yeah. I think we're gonna enjoy this one also. I mean, we just you know, we really love Heather Hemings and Brendan Penny, and she's just been she's so effortless. And I just I I really like her a lot. Yeah. And so I I think I think we're in for a real treat. I mean, I'm gonna I'm kind of excited to see her in Texas, you know. I know, right? Doing the two-step. So two-step. Yeah, I mean, I think it sounds, you know, it's always what does it say it's her childhood sweetheart? Right. Obviously, now he's a cowboy. So um, I think it's gonna be, I I think it has potential to be really good. What do you think? Yeah, I think so. I think we're gonna get some line dancing, we're gonna get some two-step in.

Why Hallmark Soundtracks Matter

I think it's gonna be fun. I hope, I hope the soundtrack is good. Yeah, it has potential to have a really good soundtrack, right? And you know, we've always said if Hallmark would just list the music or put it up on, you know, so that people can download it, and we pay a price for it. I don't mind, because there are some good music out there, you know, whether it's from a big name or a no name. The the music, someone who's trying to make a break into the right, right. Well, I when I say no name, I'm I'm not putting anybody down. I'm just no famous yet. So but no, I'm kind of looking forward to this one. Yeah, and her character name, I just looked it up. It is Olivia. So she is Olivia and Brendan Penny is Luke. There you go. All

The Love Heist In Chicago

right, for the next one, we have the love heist that is set to premiere on Saturday, June 20th. And this one stars Lindsay Fonseca. And Peter Porte. Yes, Porte. We adore Lindsay. In fact, we just um dropped our podcast review of Next Stop Christmas. I mean, we just single on the 25th. We love we just we really, really love her. Now, I'm not as familiar with Pita. No. So, um, and Lindsay, of course, like I just mentioned, she was last in single on the 25th, and he was in Notes of Autumn in 2023. Right. Which we did not see. Yeah. Maybe we should watch that before we watch this one. We can watch it. You know me, I'm for a Hallmark movie. So no writer is listed yet, but we have a director, ding ding, ding. Finally, I wish they would get that information out. Yeah. Uh Kevin Fair is directing or directed this one. He is no stranger to Hallmark and, of course, has a ton of directing credits. He directed almost all of the Sign Seal Delivered movies and a few episodes of that series. He last directed 2026's Caught by Love. Oh. Yeah. Okay. All right, here's the synopsis celebrity stylist Kaylee must team up with hotel security chief Mills to track down an iconic piece of fashion history after it goes missing on her watch before the wait for it, Chicago costume gala. I just have one thing to say about that, and it's go cubbies. Go cubs, go cubs. They're not doing so great. This one they were doing great. They lose many. They win some, they lose many more. Yeah. So, you know, I'm a Chicagoan girl. I grew up near Chicago. I'm a Cubs fan, even though it's hard to be a Cubs fan. Except in 2016 when they won the World Series. What? Exciting times. So my opinion about this movie is unlike the Cubs, it might be a hit. See what it did there. It might actually hit something. It might hit the charts. It may be out of the park. No, I I I think this looks cute. I mean, we love Lindsay Fonseca, and um I just this actually sounds fun. Yeah, it does. You know, like it has potential to be a lot of fun. I think you're correct. I'm looking forward to it. Yes, it looks good. And you know what's interesting is since he last directed Caught by Love, wasn't that like a heist? Wasn't that also a jewelry heist? Yes, it was. And that one that Luke McFarlane and that's right. And Rachel Lee Cook. Yeah, it was. Yeah, so it's gonna be interesting to see this one and how it compares to Caught by Love. So I'm I'm kind of excited. You think you think we're in for I think so far, I think these three first three movies are gonna be really good. So yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Well, I'm not looking specifically, but well no, I I I think it's going to be. I mean, uh, you know, come on now. It's in Chicago. Yes, how can it go wrong? How can it go wrong? And it's got probably one of my best actresses. One of your favorite actresses. Yes, yeah, I know. Lindsay. These are becoming my favorite. All right, I'm telling you. Yeah, yeah. Our friends over at Do You Watch What I Watch, just drop their Hallmark Mount Rushmore episode. Go listen to it. I think Lindsay would be on yours. They did Mount Rushmore for the men and Mount Rushmore for the women. And Lindsay Fonseca would definitely be on both of ours, although she might rank a little differently, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, you know, yeah. She's getting there. All right, so we're gonna move on to the last one, uh, summer movie or summer nights movie.

A Castle Of Our Own And Brennan’s Return

Yes. Let's see, it's called A Castle of Our Own. It premieres June 27th. And this one stars Brennan Elliott and Erica Cochera. Or Chera. Chera. Erica, you threw a cut in there like that. Erica Chera. Sorry. I think it's Erica, right, right. We think if we mispronounced it, we apologize. Yay. I'm sorry. Anyways, I think it's I think it's Erica Chera. And this is Brennan's return to Hallmark. Yay. Welcome back, Brennan. And we couldn't be more excited. How about you? Are you excited? Yeah, yeah. I think it's, you know, well, it's his return at, you know, his wife passed away. Yeah. And so I think he's maybe been off the screen for about a year. So it's very, it's very cool to see him back. Right. You know, um, in a movie. And I mean, we're excited to watch it. We love him. Yeah. Not as familiar with her yet, but um, but we love him. And it's just great that he's, you know, he's back in it. So so good for him. I'm sure it wasn't easy, but um, you know, I'm glad I'm glad to see him back on our screens. Me too. For sure. Because he's really, really good. Yeah. And of course, you know, he has a lengthy resume with Hallmark, anyways. Yeah. And we last saw him in his and hers in 2024. That was so cute. Yeah. And Erica, she was in 2024's Dance in the Snow. Yeah. The writer for this one is Nina Weinman. And of course, there's no director listed here. So we get the writer, not the director. Last one we had the director, but not the writer. There you go. Yeah. And Nina, she's written um so many Hallmark faves. She's last wrote All's Fair and Love and Mahjong, which I enjoyed. Yes, we really enjoyed that one. And and that just aired um earlier this month, or actually in May. Last month. Um, she also wrote, I know the months are flying by. It's like you think it was just yesterday, but it's not. No, or we're just over the hump into June. And she's written some from Count Down to Christmas 2025. We met in December. And how much did we love that movie? Loved, loved, loved. Oh yeah. That was what I'm talking about. That was a good one, Nina. Oh, it's so good. Oh, yes, yes. It was, it was, we had two top. Um, that was one of our two top movies from Countdown to Christmas 2025. Yes. We met in December was one of them. Yep. Yep. So the synopsis for this is when an overwork architect takes an unexpected summer trip, a sandcastle contest and a contractor help reconnect her daughter, rediscover joy, and find love she never saw coming. Yeah. Now, I love some sandcastle. Oh my gosh. Yes. We'll have to. Yeah. Yes. So I think this is gonna be fun. I think this one's gonna be real fun. I think I think this will be a good one also. And then, you know, we sort of have a connection to Sandcastle, sort of, right? There's

Sandcastle Contests And Beach Details

a are there two of them every year or just one? Just the one big one. There's one big one um close to where we live. And um, it's so cool to go and see. I mean, we're talking like, you know, not just the bucket turned over sink. Yes. We're talking like sculptures. Very intricate sculptures and design. And I don't know how far in advance the artists come to start it, but it is so cool. And we love walking through there, they're usually in like a tent um on the beach, and we just we love going there. It's just it's incredible the talent that we've seen. Oh my god. I mean, if I had that kind of talent, I'd be doing the same thing. I mean, well, yeah, I might not be doing the podcast. Those sandcastle sculptures are are beautiful, man. I mean, and you know what's interesting way back when they used to have it outside. Uh, and you just kind of, you know, if the weather was good, the weather was good. If it wasn't, it wasn't. And I'm so glad they moved it inside this big like circus tent type thing. Yeah. So it's protected from, you know, the wind and the rain and the sun and the weather from dropping. Because they leave it out. It's like a week or something. People can walk through it. There it goes. I think it goes. So hopefully this one, yeah. I mean, it's gonna be interesting to see how this one plays out. I'm not sure where exactly it takes place. I don't think we where the summer trip is, where the overworked architect takes a trip to a sandcastle and a contractor. So it has to be somewhere where there's a beach, right? I'm sure it'll be less about the sandcastle and more about their relationship, but whatever. No, it'll be good. No, I mean, I think it sounds really I think it sounds good, actually. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, yeah. I think I think we're I think we're in for a a treat with that one too. Yeah. That one as well. Especially, you know, the writer Nina Wyman. I mean, we're gonna get you know we're gonna get something good. Yes, right, already. I mean, we have some really strong, we don't know the writers and directors of excuse me, the first two, but um, you know, Kevin Fair with all of his director credits. We don't know the writer of that one yet, but yeah. We don't we don't get we don't have access to that kind of stuff yet. So well, I don't even know, honestly. I'm not even sure. Yeah, I I know I just know it's not on IMDB yet, where we look. We ch and we scour Hallmark channel to see what we can find out beforehand to see what information we can

Ranking The June Movies

give. But so what do you think? What do you think about the lineup of the four movies so far? Um, I think it's I think June's gonna be good. I mean, I I think you know, starting overseas and then kind of working our way back um to Texas and then, you know Chicago. Chicago. And then we don't know. We're not sure where it is at Castle, but I'm assuming it's gonna be somewhere that's beachy. I would I would think. Right. Well, it would have to be if they're saying castles, so but I'm looking forward actually to all all four of them, you know? Yeah, I mean I think they look, let's see. I'm just trying to see if I can see. Oh. Uh no, I can't find anything really quickly about where that's all right. Yeah. I I mean, I I too, I think we're in for we're in for a real treat. Now, which one would you pick to be your top one, probably? Oh, yeah. What do you think is gonna be your favorite of June? Uh well, you know, I love a good heist. Oh, you love a good heist. There you go. And it has Lindsay. So I know that's the one I'm looking forward to. What about you? What are you looking forward to? I, you know, it's a toss-up because we do, we love so much of Nina's work, but I really think I think I'm really gonna like the Texas stew step. Oh, okay. I'm gonna pick that as potentially now. I hope they're all fives when we do our reviews. I know. I mean, I'm expecting all fives, Hallmark. Come on. I hope we get five Yeehaws. Give me some good and is that what we're gonna rate that one Yeehaws? How many Yeehaws do you give this one? Gosh, yeah, but I think I think they sound they sound great. We have some we have great pairings, I think. Yeah, we do uh for the month of June. So we're gonna see. It's coming up, and we will be dropping our podcast reviews, of course, usually the Wednesdays after the premiere. So make sure you subscribe and like and follow so that you don't miss any of our reviews of the movies and come back to find out if we were right on the ones that we thought we would like the most.
