Fall Into Love Season Preview
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Pour the Wine. It's romcom time, where we'll sift some wine and review all things rom com on the Hallmark channel. I'm Amy.
SPEAKER_01And I'm Gary. And we're ready to dive into this.
SPEAKER_00Okay, we're gonna get right to it.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we are.
SPEAKER_00Today we're going to preview the eight, count them eight 2026 Fall into Love movies that begin August. That's August. Yeah, 22nd, and lead us right to the weekend before countdown to Christmas stars. So August through October. Now, normally we do a Hurt It Through the Grapevine segment, but pretty much all these movies will be Heard It Through the Grapevine because we're talking about things that are coming to the Hallmark channel.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
unknownMm-hmm. All right.
SPEAKER_00There you go.
SPEAKER_01So let's do it.
Love Finds You Setup And Banter
SPEAKER_00All right. So the first movie in Fall into Love 2026 will be Love Finds You. It premieres on Saturday, August 22nd and stars Chris McNally and Amy Tegarden. The writers are Charlie Shanayan, I think. Sorry if I mispronounced it. And Sherry Simpson. Charlie and Sherry have written one other Hallmark movie, Color My World with Love. The director is Eva Tavares. Now we just saw Eva direct Texas Two Step. And we enjoyed that spicy little number. That's pretty, pretty good. Margarita. Margarita. All right. So the synopsis here is a mislabeled package convinces jewelry designer Alex she's found her ideal man, sending her and delivery driver Jack on a citywide search that helps them discover what they truly want. All right. So lay it on me. What you got? What you think?
SPEAKER_01Um, I think this is gonna be cute. Um, driving around in a uh UPS like truck. Hopefully this one has AC because I know most of the UPS trucks probably don't. So they look like they do right.
SPEAKER_00If they have to actually if he drives it and Amy has to be in the back, you mean?
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah. Can you imagine the bumps? That's gotta be fun.
SPEAKER_00No, I cannot, yes.
SPEAKER_01But um, no, I'm uh I'm looking forward to it. I think it, I think it's gonna be cute. I think it's gonna be funny. I think there'll be a lot of banter back and forth, especially when you're riding in a truck. There's nothing but talking. So what about you?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I think it, you know, based on what we've seen and read, it it does seem like it's going to be fun, a fun ride. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Fun ride.
SPEAKER_00You know, uh some witty banter we're gonna get, apparently, which we're always down for. We always love the banter. And it's just it's gonna be interesting. I mean, I think it's a different type of movie because based on what we've seen, it seems like um, you know, Amy's character gets Alex, she gets this package and it's misdelivered, mislabeled, and it's got these things in it that signify to her that whoever ordered this is the perfect man based on the contents of the package, right? Yeah. So, um, so she's on a mission to find him. And Chris's character, Jack, is there to help her. So it just seems like it's gonna be kind of fun. I mean, I don't know if we've had something quite like that.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00I mean, so it I I think it I think we might be in for a good time, and especially with Eva's direction.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00That's gonna be interesting. So, and we really like Chris McNally and Amy T. Garden. So um, we you know, we we really enjoy both of them. So it's gonna be cool. I think so. I'm here for it. I'm ready.
Much About Love Shakespeare Twist
SPEAKER_01All right. Well, the next movie in line is Much About Love, which premieres Saturday, August 29th. And this had a working title of Much Adoo About Love.
SPEAKER_00I wonder why. I wonder why.
SPEAKER_01And it stars Ashley Williams and Niall Matter. Two great styles.
SPEAKER_00Gosh, we adore that. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01And the writers for this movie, Ramona Barkhart, Neil Dotson, and of course, William Shakespeare.
SPEAKER_00The one and only.
SPEAKER_01Ramona last wrote 'twas the date before Christmas. This is Neil's first Hallmark writing credit, but he has produced a few Hallmark movies, including Falling Together. As opposed to Falling Apart. As opposed to. And of course, William Shakespeare himself needs no introduction.
SPEAKER_00I mean, he's written a few things.
SPEAKER_01Just a few.
SPEAKER_00A few things here and there.
SPEAKER_01That are still that guy.
SPEAKER_00That guy. I know a guy. Did you ever read any of Shakespeare's No, no, please?
SPEAKER_01To be or not to be. That's me.
SPEAKER_00I mean, the only I'm not, you know, I'm no Shakespeare guru, that's for sure. But um, you know, of course we've heard of much ado about nothing. And I had to read a Midsummer's Night's Dream in high school a long, long, long time ago. But other than maybe, you know, like Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet and Othello, you know, I mean, I've I I wouldn't say I'm an expert, I know of them. Right. So well, you know.
SPEAKER_01Big, big time, big time, big time, yeah. He's he's big time. Um, the director is Shamim Sharif. And Shamim directed six episodes of The Way Home, and she is directing what we think will be a countdown to Christmas movie, Christmas at Canterbury.
SPEAKER_00Christmas, yeah, that seems like that. Isn't that the name of the book from the Unwrapping Christmas movie?
SPEAKER_01I think it is.
SPEAKER_00He is Prince, what he comes from. Oh, so there really is a book, Christmas in Canterbury. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Ah, right.
SPEAKER_00Here for it.
SPEAKER_01And the synopsis for this one is a TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of much of much ado about nothing.
SPEAKER_00Nothing. So we're gonna get the witty angle.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we are.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we just, you know, Ashley and Niall, come on.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Never kiss a man in a Christmas sweater.
SPEAKER_00How cute was that? So, I mean, I just think we're in store for a real treat with this one.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I mean, and and the witty banter, of course, Shakespeare was known for, you know.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, so I I think it sounds really cute. I like someone going back to their theater roots. And I don't know how much of have we gotten a lot of Shakespeare Hallmark movies?
SPEAKER_01I don't think so.
SPEAKER_00I know like they do Jane Austen a lot, but I'm not right 100% certain. So it just seems it seems like it's gonna be pretty, pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Well, you know, we're gonna find out. Yeah, hopefully there are no Christmas trees involved in this one.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. I was like, wait, what? I had to think about that for a minute, even though I just said it, but okay, I got you. I got you. Well, we're still in August, but we're in fall movies, right?
SPEAKER_01Maybe it's a book. Maybe it's a book that takes them out.
SPEAKER_00Maybe, maybe. Yeah, a book that makes them.
SPEAKER_01Moving on.
Haunted Harmony Mystery Returns
SPEAKER_00All right. The next movie is Haunted Harmony Mysteries Prelude to a wedding, and that will premiere on Saturday, September 5th. Now, this is the fourth installment of the Haunted Harmony Mysteries, which we really, really like. Yes? No? Hello, are you spacing out? I'm talking to you. Am I talking to the wall? I looked at you and you're like, I had a glitch. I was like, Hello, you have had several glitches. I lost internet connection. All right. So this stars Tamara Maury Housley, Marco Grazzini, and Ristird Cooper. And the writer is Craig Wenman. And Craig, of course, was a writer on the other three haunted harmony uh movies, mysteries movies. Say that four times in a row, ten times in a row. Um, he's also written several other Hallmark movies, the Garage Sale Mysteries, a few of those. He's written a um a Martha's Vineyard mystery. So a bake to what's the what's the Hannah Swenson one before it was.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I can't remember that.
SPEAKER_00Why am I stumping myself right now? Murder She Baked. There you go. Okay, so he wrote one of those. Good grief.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00I'm glitching too. This is fine. This is fine. All right.
SPEAKER_01This is fine.
SPEAKER_00Uh there was no director listed yet that we could find, but Linda Lisa Hayter did direct, I believe, the other three movies. So maybe she directed this one as well. Not sure. All right, the synopsis. When Gethsemane, see what I did there? Yeah. Pronounced it correctly. When Ghissemene is invited to play at a wedding, she and Aamon find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_00That's a bad wedding right there.
SPEAKER_01That is a terrible wedding. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00All right, what do you think? What do you think?
SPEAKER_01Well, you know I love the other three, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna love this one. And I just love the interaction between Amon and Gethsem Gethsemane.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I just think it's so so cute and so like natural, even though he's a ghost.
SPEAKER_00But and it's funny.
SPEAKER_01And it's funny. It's we he's so witty when he talks to other humans that can't see him. It's just so funny.
SPEAKER_00And it is, you know, it is based on a series of books, and we just so we watched the third one first.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Yeah, we should have a lot of things.
SPEAKER_00And we enjoyed it so much. We went back and watched one and two, and we had such a difficult time pronouncing Gethsemane. When we did our first review, we we butchered it and we apologized, we did not know. And so um, Craig was kind enough to reach out to us um, you know, on Instagram. We chatted a little bit, and he said that they kind of intentionally did that in the first movie. They talked about, I mean, everyone was mispronouncing Ghassemin's name, right? And I thought, oh yay, we'll have to go watch that now. It's so funny because that is us. I apologize. So it's pretty cool. Yeah, but I'm really excited about this. We love the series of movies, and we're here for it, and we hope we get more. I'd love to see like a Christmas one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think that'd be cool, right?
SPEAKER_00The Haunted Harmony Mysteries.
SPEAKER_01And a nice castle that's all decorated. Decorated. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00But then there's a murder. There's always a murder. There's always a murder.
SPEAKER_01I know. Well, I'm looking forward to it.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, me too.
SPEAKER_01Because you know I love the ghost stories, boy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, buddy.
Falling Into Place Reunion Energy
SPEAKER_01All right, so the next one falling into place premieres Saturday, September 12th. This one stars Alvina August and Nathan Witt. And the writer is Ainsley Gordon. And we just saw her last writing gig for Hallmark, Aussie at Heart.
SPEAKER_00Which we're talking about.
SPEAKER_01And you and I loved that movie.
SPEAKER_00Loved, loved, loved.
SPEAKER_01Loved everything about it. B-roll and all. Uh this will be uh Angie's Hallmark debut, which is she's the director, which is Angie Nolan. Can you let me finish? Can you let me finish?
SPEAKER_00You skipped ahead. Okay, it's fine. It's fine.
SPEAKER_01All right, so the synopsis, and I'm sorry if I get this name wrong. Is it Kaya? Kaya, Kaya.
SPEAKER_00I'm not sure if it's Kaya or Kaya. I'm not really sure.
SPEAKER_01We'll go with Kaya, returns home for her town's fall festival as well as her high school reunion, and spends the week with her childhood best friend James to complete their unfinished fall bucket list. Now we haven't had a school reunion in a minute.
SPEAKER_00No, I don't think so.
SPEAKER_01So this is gonna be interesting, huh?
SPEAKER_00Gonna be gonna be interesting.
SPEAKER_01Now, have you been back to any of your high school reunions or college reunions? Or in this case, high school.
SPEAKER_00Did I go to? I went to my tenure reunion.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00Um, and that was before before Facebook was really popular and you could see what everyone looked like. Those were the days you didn't really know. Right. You didn't know.
SPEAKER_01You just showed up and you were like turned out.
SPEAKER_00But 10 years really isn't that long. People don't really typically change too terribly much in that time. I mean, some people were married by that point, you know. Um, I was and had a a couple babies by then.
SPEAKER_03Babies.
SPEAKER_00Um, you know, after my college years, I dove right into that. Um, and it was, I mean, it was fun, but you know, in 10 years, like I said, people don't change. You still have the same clicks, you still have I don't know. I I had a good time, but I I haven't been to another reunion since just because it hasn't worked out right timing-wise. Like it. And I don't even want to say what year we're at now. And but now, you know, I feel like social media has sort of taken away the fun of it. The fun and the surprise of going to the reunions, you know. You you kind of I always felt like with Facebook I was friends with who I wanted to stay friends with, you know. Like I don't want to see everybody necessarily, you know. So um, I don't know. And you get to see what they look like. So it kind of that element of surprise is got stress away, huh? The kids these days wouldn't understand that with all the social media, but um, yeah, it used to be you'd go and you'd be like, Oh, I wonder what they look like. I wonder if they're married, you know. Now you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, you know?
SPEAKER_00So what about you? Did you go to any?
SPEAKER_01No. All my friends graduated a year before me. I was young. So when they left, I was kind of depressed and alone.
SPEAKER_00You didn't have any friends in your own class. Well, you had changed schools too, right?
SPEAKER_01So you kind of somebody ratted me out. Yeah. I didn't live in the district, but all right.
SPEAKER_00So getting back to this movie, um, you know, I'm not as familiar with the actors, I don't think. But so Nathan, he speaking of Texas two-step, he was in Texas two-step. He played the cousin, right?
SPEAKER_01Yes, he was the cousin.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he was the cousin. So um, I'm just not as familiar with his work, other than that. Uh, I guess he was in the wish swap.
SPEAKER_01But he was he was also the prince in the Canterbury book.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh, he was in Unwrapping Christmas.
SPEAKER_01Yes, he was.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes, yes, yes, he was. That's right. Okay, so I am more familiar with him. What about her? What you got on her?
SPEAKER_01I have no idea. Anything? No, I do not. I'm sorry. I apologize, but I do look forward to this movie.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, I think it sounds good. And since we loved Aussie at Heart, you know, um, with Ainsley Gordon writing this, I think, um, you know, I think we'll be in for a real treat. I'm hoping anyway. It sounds fun. Everybody loves a good fall festival. Oh, you know, and a high school reunion. Hello, you know.
SPEAKER_01I I've never been to one, but okay.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Well, yeah, yeah. No, I'm just saying, you know, lots of lots of good can happen there, and hopefully we'll get all the fall feels with this one. It sounds interesting, I think.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it does.
SPEAKER_00I'm here for it.
SPEAKER_01All right. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_00All right.
Garage Sale Mysteries Comeback
SPEAKER_00The next movie is Garage Sale Mysteries. Murder Takes the Stage. This premieres Saturday, September 19th. Now, this is the first garage sale mystery movie since 2020. It is the return of the garage sale mysteries movie. And it will star uh Lori Laughlin and Steve Basic. No writer or director is listed yet as of this recording. And the synopsis is one of the members of Jennifer Shannon's True Crime Book Club is murdered during the group's reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Now that's I'm here for it.
SPEAKER_00I mean, Lizzie Borden was the axe, right?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Wasn't that the axe murders?
SPEAKER_01I think so, yes.
SPEAKER_00So uh during the reenactment of that, I'm a little scared. Well, what do you think?
SPEAKER_01Um well, you know, welcome back, Lori. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, welcome back.
SPEAKER_01Um, I I don't know. I I'm intrigued. Yeah. I'm wondering how they're gonna do this reenactment of this the the Lizzie Borden murders, and then someone actually gets murdered. I know.
SPEAKER_00That's a little creepy, actually.
SPEAKER_01I know. It's like you're reenacting it, but it's really happening. What's going on? I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Well, you know, and we've never seen any of the garage sale mysteries. So we we don't have any um we don't have any idea.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00Right, uh what they're like or what they're about, or are they are they kind of witty and funny too, or are they more on the serious side? I have no idea. We were we weren't big um mystery Hallmark mystery watchers. So um it's gonna be interesting to see. I mean, we're willing to give it a shot and watch. And Lori did return in When Calls the Heart, I think this year.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00Last year. So it's not this won't be her first return to Hallmark. Um, but it is the return of the series that she was in, so uh which she was in When Calls the Heart too. But um it's gonna be I I don't know. I mean, I'm kinda here for it. We like we like a good mystery, and I mean Yeah, I think so. I I I mean, well, you know, Steve Basic, he was so good and like she's making a list. The last I think that might have been the last time we saw him. So he was funny in that, but maybe he's very serious in this. I have no clue.
SPEAKER_01Uh well, we're gonna find out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And maybe we'll watch a couple before we actually, you know, just to get an idea of the characters themselves.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe we should. I mean, we got plenty of time. Yeah, we we have a little bit, yeah. But I don't know, like I wonder. Let me, I'm just gonna take a gander. A gander um to see when the first one aired back in 20. Ooh. Ooh, they go back 2014.
SPEAKER_01Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_00Garage Sale Mystery, All That Glitters, was in 2014. Oh no. There's one in 2013.
SPEAKER_01Oh oh.
SPEAKER_00Just called Garage Sale Mystery, so it goes back a minute.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Wow.
SPEAKER_00Maybe we should maybe we should watch like the most recent, like the 2020 one instead of going back to 2013.
SPEAKER_01I'd like to watch the first one just to get the characters, and then we can go to the last one and see.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01So we'll do that.
SPEAKER_00All right, we'll do we'll try to do that before we watch it. All right, that's our commitment.
SPEAKER_01All right. All right, three more to go, right? Three more to
Pumpkin Regatta Romance Concerns
SPEAKER_01go. All right. So the next one, Pumpkin Regatta Romance premieres Saturday, September 26th. And it stars Michelle Morgan and Corey uh Shiver. Is that Shiver?
SPEAKER_00I think it's CVA.
SPEAKER_01CVA again. I apologize. Oh, man, these names, I'm having a problem with them. Um, the writer is is Kate Bragnell, and Kate's last Hallmark work was The Christmas Charade. Charade. But she also wrote one of our fave's Take Me Back for Christmas. Which, oh my god. Come on, girl. Make me cry like that. Shame on you. The director, Liz uh Farrer, and Liz last directed because of Cupid. And that was cute too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was really cute.
SPEAKER_01So the synopsis for this one is a headstrong marina owner teams up with a local pumpkin farmer to resurrect their lakeside town's beloved pumpkin regatta after a family feud cancels it, igniting old wounds and new sparks in the process. So, what do you think?
SPEAKER_00Um, I think it sounds very fall.
SPEAKER_01Very, very fall.
SPEAKER_00Isn't like a regatta a boat race?
SPEAKER_01I meant to look like I don't know. I'm not big into boats, so I couldn't I'm not big into boats.
SPEAKER_00We're gonna need a bigger boat.
SPEAKER_01I'm not a boat guy, I'm not a car.
SPEAKER_00It's an organized sporting event featuring a series of boat races.
SPEAKER_01There you go. Wow.
SPEAKER_00So, which makes sense with the marina owner, duh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, you just read that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I should have maybe I should put two and two together next time.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00So, I mean, I think it sounds kind of interesting. Now, I don't know if it's Michelle, Michelle, maybe it's pronounced Michelle. Michelle, Morgan. She was in, she was Sherry in Hearts Around the Table.
SPEAKER_03Oh, remember that series of horror movies? Yes. That was good too.
SPEAKER_00She and he was in Take Me Back for Christmas.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00Right. So um I think it sounds kind of interesting if if they're able to pull it off.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I think so. Well, it depends on it's an interesting premise. I hope they don't have a lot of green screen because you got boats in this. Well, that's true. That's true. I just hope it's not that kind of a movie.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, yeah, it could have potential for a little uh big on green screens. But I think it sounds kind of but it sounds different.
SPEAKER_01It it does sound different. I mean, who would have thought to put pumpkins and boat races together?
SPEAKER_00Right, right. Well, they're trying to get it back, get it going since the family feud cancels it, right? So you have the family. I mean, the family feud isn't isn't a new premise, but um this sounds I I'm kind of intrigued by that, and I'm really hoping that they can pull it off. Like you said, without too many green, too much of a green screen going on.
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah. Well, we're gonna find out.
SPEAKER_00We're gonna find out. All right.
SPEAKER_01September 26th.
SPEAKER_00Movie number seven. Fall into love.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh.
A Knight Comes Alive
SPEAKER_00A night to remember premieres Saturday, October 3rd. We finally probably made it into fall. It's October, people. It's October.
SPEAKER_01October Halloween season.
SPEAKER_00Now, this is based on the book Her Night at the Museum by Brynn Donovan. And it's will star Julie Gonzalo and James Trevina. There is no writer and director listed yet. Um, the synopsis is when practical museum conservator Emily Porter restores a centuries-old statue of legendary knight Sir Griffin de Buford. Buford?
SPEAKER_01Buffard?
SPEAKER_00Buffard.
SPEAKER_01Buford.
SPEAKER_00Buford. One unexpected kiss brings him magically back to life and turns her carefully ordered world upside down.
SPEAKER_01No frog.
SPEAKER_00Don't we all want a knight to come to life?
SPEAKER_01Oh wow, do you? I know I don't.
SPEAKER_00You don't.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, just a little bit, just a little bit.
SPEAKER_00All right. Now, Julie, of course, we, you know, I know she's in the Hallmark realm, but we loved her. We first saw her and loved her in Eli Stone, a little TV series back in the day.
SPEAKER_03Way back in the day.
SPEAKER_00Was it early 2000s?
SPEAKER_03I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Um, so we really like her. I'm not James Trevina, do we know?
SPEAKER_01I'm not familiar with it.
SPEAKER_00Are we as familiar with him? We probably should be and just can't think of his name.
SPEAKER_01But what do you think? Um, I I think this is interesting. You know, you got to play off of the kissing the frog and stuff. So um, and it comes to life.
SPEAKER_00So it's gonna be interesting. Yeah. James was in Lost in Paradise. He played Julian, the friend. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, we got you. We got you. All right, no, no, no. We just needed a minute.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay. Well, you know, it might make it even more uh interesting now. Um, but yeah, I mean, inside of a museum, that'd be kind of cool. It'd be scary though.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think we've kind of done that with the movie. Yeah, well like a really big series of movies, right? Or there are a couple of those. Yeah. Um, so it seems, I mean, it'll be hallmarkified, of course. Um, I don't I don't know. I I I'm kind of on the fence on this one. I mean, I'm sure the book is great. We have I haven't read the book.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Um, you know, it's a book adaptation, obviously. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01You got a month to read it.
SPEAKER_00How close to the book. I do have the book. I just haven't read it yet. I just get the book. Yeah. Um, so I'm sure it's probably a fun read. It just sort of seems like it's been done and in such a big way. You know, I I'm I'm just I'm just not sure. I don't know. But we love Julie.
SPEAKER_01So There you go. We're gonna find out. I don't know. I it it depends on what they do. I is it gonna be something like they run around the museum chasing bad guys, or you know what I mean? Or is it just gonna be she got locked in a museum or yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I mean, it could be some something like do you remember the movie Encino Man?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00With uh Brendan Fraser and uh Sean Sean Aston, I think, was in it, and he comes to life. He was like a caveman or something, right? He comes live like living in the modern world, blast from the past, um mannequin. What was the Mae Ryan and yeah, mannequin, Mae Ryan and um, although he came from a different time.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Uh Hugh Jackman, Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman. I can't think of the name of that movie right now, but um, yeah, so we'll see.
SPEAKER_01We'll see.
SPEAKER_00We'll see.
Halloween Spirits Meet Hallmark Heart
SPEAKER_00All right.
SPEAKER_01So pulling up the rear in the final movie of Fall Into Love is last but not least. The last but not least, the Spirit of Halloween, which premieres Saturday, October 10th. And it stars Kevin McGary and Megan Ori.
SPEAKER_00Heard of both of them. Know them really well.
SPEAKER_01No writer or director is listed yet. So we'll see. But with them two big guns coming out.
SPEAKER_00Pretty good pairing. Pretty good pairing.
SPEAKER_01Pretty, pretty good.
SPEAKER_00Pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Anyways, the synopsis for this is Everly Stone is very fam uh firmly anti-Halloween. That is, until she is visited by three friendly yet spooky spirits who help her rediscover her true self and see what she's been missing all along. Dun dun dun. Kind of sounds like Christmas.
SPEAKER_03Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01Only Halloween. Which I've been saying, I feel like they're making Halloween like Christmas because they got all these yard pimps and all this other stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yard pimps, you like to call them yard pimps.
SPEAKER_01All these decorations you could put in your yard and in trees now.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think they have for a long time though. We have, I mean, my college roommate, she was a huge Halloween, she was she loved Halloween like we love Christmas. Right. You know, and what my old um co-worker friend, they decorate, they start decorating their house like a month before Halloween.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_00Because her husband loves Halloween so much. That's how and people come from all over to their house to see all their grand decorations. I mean, they do it, they do it up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, they do. They show me pictures and I'm like, okay, yeah. Then no wonder it takes you a month.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I actually I'm pretty excited about this. I like the idea of the Christmas care, a Christmas carol being done at Halloween time. I'm not sure we've seen that.
SPEAKER_01Nope. I haven't.
SPEAKER_00So I think the story is intriguing to me. I like a good ghost visit, you know. It'll be, you know, like the like the description says, friendly, but you know, a little spooky, right? The spirits come to visit. They're not going to be too scary.
SPEAKER_01Nope, not too scary.
SPEAKER_00I so I think I actually think this has potential to be really, really cute. Me too. And I mean, Kevin McGee.
SPEAKER_01Come on.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Megan Ory, you know, Chesapeake Shores, love her. Yeah, yeah. So and him with Win Calls the Heart. I mean, I think it's a really good pairing. And um, I'm not sure if they've worked together before. They might, they may have. I didn't do the research on that. So um, it's gonna be interesting though. I I kind of I I find that one intriguing.
SPEAKER_01Me too.
SPEAKER_00Just because I think it hasn't really been done before. What about you? What do you no?
SPEAKER_01I I I I think the same thing. I mean, I like the playoff of it. So um, it's gonna be interesting to see what the ghosts look like when they come to visit her and what they do to her.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, what they do to her, you know, because I know what they make her see and take her to the different yeah time periods in her life.
SPEAKER_01I I think that's gonna I think ending, you know, fall into love with that type of movie, I think I think it's gonna be a hit.
SPEAKER_00I I do too. So which one?
Top Picks And Biggest Risks
SPEAKER_00So out of the eight, what do you think are your top two? Oh my gosh. Can you pick two?
SPEAKER_01You know, I don't wanna say because they're big name stars, but I am looking forward to the Ashley Williams and Niall Matter one.
SPEAKER_00Why wouldn't you want to say that? That's okay. You can say that. I know, but you know You're not saying it just because of the two lead actors, but that helps. Is that what you're saying?
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00But you can say that. I mean, you're allowed to be excited about a movie about actors that you really enjoy.
SPEAKER_01The The Love Finds You with Chris uh McNally and Amy T. Garden. I think that one's gonna be interesting. You definitely the um Haunted Harmony. So with Tamara Maury Housley.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01I'm looking forward to that one. And of course, you know, the last one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So there you go.
SPEAKER_00The last one. What about you? What are you looking forward to? I think I think, well, I told you two, but you said like four. You said half of the eight movies.
SPEAKER_01I thought you said half. So I went to the.
SPEAKER_00If I if I have to pick. Um I'm really excited about the spirit of Halloween. I think that is going to be cute. Um, it's kind of hard because other ones I find very intriguing. I think, yeah, uh, like you said, it uh you know, now I see why it was hard. I I'm really excited about the haunted harmony mysteries because I just think that's gonna be another great addition to that series. So um I would say that one. And then I'll throw in a third one since you did four Nothing but Love.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I think I think that I'm excited about that one.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00I think that one. So they all have they all have good potential, I think. There's a couple that I'm the least which one are you least excited about?
SPEAKER_01Um I don't the one which one did I say about the green screens?
SPEAKER_00Um the pumpkin regatta.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um if they do green screens, that that'll do it for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I I agree. That's probably the one, but hopefully it surprises us.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00If I had to put one that I'm the least excited about, it'd probably be that one.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um I agree with you.
SPEAKER_01We're in the same boat there.
SPEAKER_00We're in the same I see what you did there. But I, you know, I always hope to be pleasantly surprised because you never know.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, we always go in with an open mind, even though we say we're but um I I think I think we have potential to have a strong fall into love season.
SPEAKER_01I think so.
SPEAKER_00And the the truth is we'll just be so excited about countdown to Christmas. We'll just be like, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, get through it, get through it. I know, I know that last one. That last one on what's what's the final date? October 10th. And we're gonna be like, you know what's next week.
SPEAKER_01I know, can't wait.
SPEAKER_00We'll be well into fall.
SPEAKER_01All right. So is that a wrap?
SPEAKER_00That is a wrap.
SPEAKER_01All
