In this episode of Pour The Wine, It’s Rom-Com Time, we’re kicking off Hallmark’s Fall into Love lineup with our review of Love Finds You. Jewelry designer Alex (Aimeé Teegarden) receives a misdelivered package filled with items that somehow perfectly match her “ideal man” wish list, while delivery driver Jack (Chris McNally) gets pulled into a citywide mission to find the package’s rightful owner. Of course, along the way, a little romance starts to complicate the search.
We’re breaking down what works, what doesn’t, and everything that left us scratching our heads. We dive into our favorite scenes, the chemistry between Alex and Jack, their genuinely adorable banter, and the supporting characters who add an extra spark. We also unpack some of the story choices that slow the movie down. Join us as we explore the romance, unravel the mystery of that purple box, and ask the very important question: why were there so many Post-its??
Pour your favorite beverage, get cozy, and press play! Cheers!

Welcome And Dolly Parton Tribute
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Poor the Wine. It's romcom time, where we'll sip some wine and review all things rom com on the Hallmark Channel. I'm Amy.
SPEAKER_02And I'm Gary.
SPEAKER_00And we're still in song.
SPEAKER_02Yes, we are. And we have something for you in Heard It Through the Grapevine. Do you want to tell the people what we have?
SPEAKER_00Well, normally we talk about Hallmark news, comings and goings, things that we've seen, heard, read on the World Wide Web.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00But today we're actually recording this a little bit later than we usually do in terms of days, a few days later. And we found out today that the legend and icon, Dolly Pardon, has passed away.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And um I think it's just, you know, I know she was 80 years old, and it shouldn't be shocking, but it is because she's just she's been around our entire lives.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. You know, I know.
SPEAKER_00Uh it and it's just, it was just sort of, you know, so sad to hear. She was just so wonderfully generous, yes, and a kind soul.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it just so great. Whenever you saw her on an interview, she was just, you know, when we were growing up, it was, you know, my mother loved the song The Coat of Many Colors. Right. You know, that was around. And then of course we had Nine to Five, which you and I know really well, right? And the song Nine to Five.
SPEAKER_02Jolene.
SPEAKER_00And Jolene that everybody sings and um, you know, kind of performs their own renditions of, and which she loves, you know, which she loved. So it's just, it's sort of it's shocking. It shouldn't be shocking, but it is.
SPEAKER_02It's I mean, think about it. I mean, how many people did she collab with? She was always, whether they were young, old, country, pop, hip-hop. I mean, it was she worked with everybody.
SPEAKER_00That's a really good point. She would. She would work with modern. I think she just did something with, I want to say like Pitbull. Remember, like a remake of her song? Like you used her song. It's really a cool, we really like it, you know. And I just thought that that was so cool of her. Just just so gracious. And, you know, all the stories you hear from anybody who's ever met her, just how wonderfully generous she was with her time, with her words, with her kindness. And um, you know, she was in Steel Magnolia's, of course.
SPEAKER_02I know. Steel Magnolia, what was the other one? Nine to five.
SPEAKER_00Nine to five, which we already, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And what was the other one? Steel Magnolia.
SPEAKER_00Are you gonna repeat the same thing?
SPEAKER_02No, I was sick. Oh, well, like Steel Magnolia's nine to five. Steel Magnolia's Poor House in Texas.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_02Burt Reynolds, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um yes, it was Burt Reynolds. Yeah, so go check that out. That's not very hallmarky, but you know, it it is what it is. It's Dolly Bart.
SPEAKER_02She did do a Hallmark movie, and that was Christmas at Dolly in Dollywood or at Dollywood.
SPEAKER_00Christmas at Dollywood.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think it was 2019. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, she did, and that was with um with uh Danica McKeller and Niomatter, who happens to have a movie coming up in a few days with Ashley Williams. Yeah, can't wait for that movie. So cheers. We gotta cheers. Cheers to Dolly.
SPEAKER_02Rest in
Movie Setup And Cast Rundown
SPEAKER_02heaven, yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right, should we get to it?
SPEAKER_02Let's do it.
SPEAKER_00All right today. We're going to be reviewing the first of eight, count them eight, Fall into Love movies of 2026. Love Finds You. It aired on the Hallmark channel on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, and is streaming right now on Hallmark Plus. It stars Amy Teagarden as Alex and Chris McNally as Jack. Amy was last on Hallmark in an Easter bloom a few years ago. And Hardy's fans, of course, saw Chris Return as Lucas Bouchard in season 13 of When Calls the Heart, which was earlier this year, and he was also just in Two for Tea with Janelle Parrish. Yeah. I love that one. You know, this one, yeah, we did. That was really cute. Um, this has a a really fun supporting cast, so I'll just mention a few of the supporting cast members.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Christian Park is Megan, and Jennifer Alexiuk is Brooke. Now the two of them are uh play Alex's friends. They're like her Christian's like her best friend. Right, right.
SPEAKER_01Where she lives.
SPEAKER_00And then Luvia Peterson is uh Irina. Is that how they pronounce it? Yeah, yeah. Irina, yeah.
SPEAKER_02She's she's um uh a co-worker of uh right.
SPEAKER_00She's Jack's co-worker who he's competing against. And Natalie Sharp plays Haley, Jack's sister.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02So it was it's a good, it was a good supporting cast, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I agree.
SPEAKER_02So the writers are Charlie, and I can't even pronounce this name, Shahanian.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think that's pretty close, probably.
SPEAKER_02Sherry Simps Simpson Simpson. Simpson. Charlie and Sherry have written one other Hallmark movie, and that's Color My World with Love. Oh, that's a fitting one for today. This was pretty much. Uh yeah, it is actually.
SPEAKER_00Oh my gosh, yes.
SPEAKER_02God winks. This was directed by Eva Tavares. Eva last directed Texas Two Step.
SPEAKER_00Mm.
SPEAKER_02And we're not gonna take a back that one.
SPEAKER_00A little spicy.
SPEAKER_02We really spicy. That was a pretty decent movie there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So is it time to drop the synopsis?
SPEAKER_00A mislabeled package convinces jewelry designer Alex she's found her ideal man, sending her and delivery driver Jack on a citywide search that helps them discover what they truly want.
SPEAKER_02Now we'll probably give away some spoilers. So if you haven't watched it yet, here's your chance. Either listen, continue to listen to us and then go watch it, or go watch it and then come back and listen to us.
SPEAKER_00It sounds good.
SPEAKER_02So it's up to you. It's your choice.
SPEAKER_00All
First Reactions And Pacing Issues
SPEAKER_00right, so let's pour it out. What did you think?
SPEAKER_02Okay. I don't know. It's like a double-edged sword here.
SPEAKER_00Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_02It's like one of those Sunday drives where you get behind that person and it's just a sh. Um I I I wish there were more scenes with Alex making her jewelry and stuff. I feel like we get these and we don't see them actually do any work.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, but I know them Hardy fans were very um happy with that calf shot.
SPEAKER_00With a few of the calf shot was funny.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I thought that was a very interesting angle.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I agree.
SPEAKER_02But um, you know, I I it was okay. It was for me, it was kind of slow. Um, a lot of conversation, not a lot of action, but you know, yeah. Uh but I would say this our UPS guy waves all the time. So, you know, customer service, it counts.
SPEAKER_00It's key. It's key. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02What about you? What'd you think about this one?
SPEAKER_00I'm with you. I thought that this was slow at times. Now, here's the thing though, there were moments of of um like witty banter. There were moments that I thought were cute, there were moments that were you know fun that were sprinkled throughout, but you know, it's like it had all this potential, but it just didn't land for me. Right. I did think it was slow. I mean, when we because we watched things twice, and when we went to watch it the second time, I was like, oh, I don't know. I don't want it. Um but you know, and I mean I thought the concept was kind of cool. Of course, we have you know, we have signs, sealed, and delivered series. You know, the postables know that I mean, of course, that's a mystery. It's usually a package or a letter that they're trying to find a home to. Right. And in this sense, a similar idea. She gets a package, it's been misdelivered, and the items in it are something that, you know, it's like she's manifested her dream guy, which we'll get into some of those scenes in a little bit, but um, because all the items in the package are things that she wants in a man, you know, it's gone to the wrong Alex Brown, right? So I thought it had potential. It just it just kind of dragged a little bit for me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, and um I really liked both of them, yeah. And the supporting cast was fun too.
SPEAKER_02I thought it just it was it was just for me, it was slow. That's all it was slow. Now, unlike like um um what was the ha the uh Valentine one? Our first ever. Unexpected Valentine where they had it you know drive around this New York City to find the owner of the ring that was left in his car because he was like an Uber driver. So it was kind of like that, you know. But um, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00That one was seemed faster-paced. It did because they had it felt faster.
SPEAKER_02It felt I think it I think it had to do with the city and maybe. I don't know. But anyway.
SPEAKER_00And then I just felt like there was like I I felt like the fall was lacking. I mean, yeah, there was like fall decorations, but it didn't feel like a fall movie. I think they were faking. He's in shorts, of course, which you know, I know delivery drivers do year-round sometimes, even in the winter. But I mean, and of course, I'm sure I know why he was in shorts, you know.
SPEAKER_02I'm showing up in the legs.
SPEAKER_00He's got, you know, he's got his his uniform, for lack of a better word. And I just, you know, and there were times where she's in like a brown, what leather jacket. Right. They've thrown like a a fall wreath on a door or some pumpkins, or I I just I don't know. I didn't totally get the fall, like cozy, right, you know, what you want vibes from it. And maybe that's because it's still 100 degrees where we are, you know.
SPEAKER_02That's true.
SPEAKER_00We're not feeling it yet. We try to. We keep our, you know, AC, we keep it pretty, pretty chilly in our house.
SPEAKER_02Um yeah, we do.
SPEAKER_00But yeah.
Fall Vibes And Story Comparisons
SPEAKER_02And and uh power company likes it.
SPEAKER_00That's right. They do, they sure do. All right, so let's get into some favorite scenes. Now, I did have one before we got to the meat cute. Did you have any?
SPEAKER_02Yes, and we're probably samers on this one. So I'll let you go since I I did first on the uh pour it out. So let's do it.
SPEAKER_00All right, so um a scene, one of the scenes that I'll talk about is the it's the fire and aspire scene.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00So I did think this was really cute.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Alex, you know, has found this box of like memorabilia from the ghosts of boyfriends past, right? And so, and her best friend Megan is like, you know, we need to. I I saw this thing on, I forget what they called it, but like a TikTok or whatever, you know. And and it's you know, fire and aspire, where you take all these things, you sort of get rid of an old life and you know, manifest the new. You say what you want instead and put it out in the universe, you know. And uh, and so Alex and Megan start to do it, and their friend Brooke, who I think maybe lives in the building, not really. Yeah, she does, she shows up and she she brings us, she had brought a speaker, and so they kind of they're laughing and having a good time and drinking wine, dancing, drinking wine, and Pat Benatar, Shadows of the Night is playing. I was here for that. You know, that was great. Hello, 80s, you know, and you know, and that's when Alex starts saying she wants someone who appreciates pop culture, she wants to take a class with someone, she wants someone who, you know, appreciates the classics, like a vibe for the vintage. Right. So she's putting all of these things out in the universe, and these are things that show up in the box, by the way. Um, you know, and that's kind of where she says she wants a hot but sweet guy, and at the same time her friend Megan says sweaty, and then Megan's like, no, I mean sweet, you know, like a sweaty guy. You know, just funny. So I just thought that that scene was just a really fun friendship scene. Um, I like the manifestation part of it. You know, you and I talk about that a lot. We try it, you know, what you put out in the world is what you get back. I believe in that. Right. Um, you know, we we're not so great at getting our vision board together, which we keep saying we're gonna do, but but I do kind of I like the idea behind it. I just thought the scene totally worked.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I really enjoyed that scene too, because that was that was my first favorite scene. It was different. They they were having a good time. Yes, and they were just burning things, and I
Fire And Aspire Manifesting Scene
SPEAKER_02thought it was funny. I just really thought it was funny.
SPEAKER_00They were tossing it into the fire.
SPEAKER_02Some of the things she had too was like it was like a Dungeons and Dragon manual. Yeah um uh a coupon for uh a class that made your own floral bouquet uh bouquet uh bouquets, right, so she could make her own. So she could make her own. And then what was it? Uh some kind of like an organic deodorant crystal and then some framed certification that she wanted uh her um her ex wanted her to tell her friends about.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, it was it was kind of funny.
SPEAKER_02Oh, but yeah, that was a good scene.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um what I mind was w every time they came to a stop or one of the houses or one of the deliveries, um it was uh the it always uh how do I say this? Everything she didn't want in a person was talked about, and then something happened, like he shared a sandwich with her. She wasn't afraid to s share a sandwich, um, which is one of the reasons why he was so, you know, um not he wasn't an open book. He he was he was sort of sort of hard because of his dump past relationships.
SPEAKER_00Past relationships.
SPEAKER_02So I kind of enjoyed all those. It because it kind of it kind of moved the movie along and moved the story along.
SPEAKER_00I don't even think I noticed that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, every stop they talked about something about their ex. And I thought it was pretty cool.
SPEAKER_00So right, right. I remembered something about her saying he did wouldn't even share a sandwich or something.
SPEAKER_02She and then she wouldn't share food with him.
SPEAKER_00Oh, she wouldn't share food with him. Right.
SPEAKER_02His his ex wouldn't do it. And his thought about that was that. Oh, that's right. She wouldn't share that for us. What else wouldn't she share? So that was kind of right.
SPEAKER_00That's right. That's right.
SPEAKER_02So what about you? Do you have another one?
SPEAKER_00Um, well, let's talk about the meat cute.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you kind of just want to.
SPEAKER_02So, well, yeah. So on our meat cute, what bottle are you going to uncork? I'm not uncorking.
SPEAKER_00I don't think. Well, sort of, maybe. So you have for the chemistry.
SPEAKER_02You have yeah, I'm sorry. Uh you have the decantit, which is the gold standard of meat cute. You have sip it, which is cute enough to enjoy, and then you have cork it, no spark, no butterflies. Move along.
SPEAKER_00This one is tough. So he's her delivery guy, right? Her what did they call it? Express now.
SPEAKER_02Express.
SPEAKER_00Not UPS or USPS, it's ExpressNow. And he she leaves like post-it notes for him sometimes, right? And so she knows who he is, and I think he's seen her. So it's kind of like a remeet.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00Cute-ish. But she gets this box, and when she goes to get it, right, isn't he like leaving at the time? Yeah. So she kind of waves to him and he's just outside the door, and he just kind of looks at her and because he's like this curmudgeony guy, right? And then he just keeps going. He pushes the dolly away. He's dropped off the box. So she, so then she goes up, she opens this box, it's got all of this stuff in it.
SPEAKER_02Right. That she manifest.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that she manifested. It's got a pop album, a mug that says like EQ is greater than IQ, and a vintage shaving kit, and it's got post-its, right? And she's like, it's fate. So then they realize they gotta go find out who this box actually belongs to. So her and her friends run downstairs, and they tell him that he'd misdelivered a package. And he's basically like, I seriously, Dow, I do that. Made a mistake, you know. Yeah. And then Megan, and then I did like it. Her friend Megan is like, You seem like a very nice guy with very kind legs. I mean, eyes, eyes. You have kind eyes, you know. So there were like these little nuggets. So that's all part. So it's kind of a long meet remeet cute scene where she's actually talking to him. They don't want to give him the package, you know, um, because they want to keep it. She wants to try to deliver it. And then she's like, I have to change. And she just runs off with her friends, and he's just kind of standing there, like, okay, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because he's in the contest, and the contest is delivering packages on time with customer service. So he's like, Come on, you know. So, but yeah. Um, so what what would you do with it?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I actually at first I was thinking, I'm gonna give it a cork it, but it was kind of a cute scene. So I would give it a sip it. I mean, it was cute enough to enjoy. I thought it worked with her friends being
Meet Cute Rating And Highlights
SPEAKER_00there. I thought that made it a little different. Yeah, they were pretty tough on him, and they were pretty tough on him. Yeah, yeah. So I would what about you? I would do it.
SPEAKER_02I would give it a sippet too. If it would have ended with her just taking the package and then, you know, going upstairs and that was the end of it, yeah, that would have been a cork it for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But the that whole scene outside and him trying to get the package back because it's the property of Express Now. And her friends are like, Yeah, no, buddy, you're not taking this package for me.
SPEAKER_00You're not getting it. And doesn't he say you're not giving me that package, are you? And they're like, Nope, you're not getting the package, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So, so a sip it for me, too.
SPEAKER_00Okay. All right. So another favorite scene. Do you have any more favorite scenes?
SPEAKER_02Um, I would just say the the last house that they um one of the last house, she was so nervous that she had uh Jack wave an omble envelope underneath her arms to try her.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's like, try it out, try it out.
SPEAKER_02And it was just so funny. And and the and the guy ended up being a priest, which I thought was high. That was kind of funny.
SPEAKER_00Was that the last house? No, it wasn't the last house.
SPEAKER_02It was the second it was uh yeah, the next to the last house. And then walking back to the to the um to the uh express now truck, Jack was like, Oh, five kids, huh? And a doppelganger.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's because the priest because the priest said to her something about he sees her in church, he sees her in church with her five kids. Yeah, yeah. So then Jack kind of teases her asses her about that.
SPEAKER_02So that was my last favorite scene. What about you? Did you have any more?
SPEAKER_00Um, I liked the character of Irina and that actress we've seen, she was on um Chicken Sisters, but here she plays like a Russian, like she's from Russia, so she has the Russian accent, and she goes to Alex's pop, her jewelry pop-up, and she asks Alex to help her. And Alex thinks that Irina is confronting her about sidetracking Jack, right? Or or you know, him about Jack taking her around and how it's the wrong thing to do. But, you know, and Jack is under the table. He has ducked under the table. So he hears the conversation going on, and Alex just starts babbling because that's her thing. She's got like diarrhea of the mouth, right? And she's like, you know, I know he's cra cranky and sarcastic, but he was just helping me, and you know, and then and then Irina's like, you babble like brook, you know, or she names the brook, and it was just it would just kind of crack me up a little bit, you know. And then that's when Alex said something like, Um, you know, I've been told that before, not that specific body of water, but I've been told that before that I just babble. And then Irina's like, my turn to speak, please, and thank you. I only get eight-minute break, you know, which I just thought was so fun.
SPEAKER_02That was a good exchange.
SPEAKER_00That was actually pretty, a pretty good exchange. And then she was so great at the at the end, too. So I just too I really enjoyed her.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I agree. That was that was a good scene.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So all right. So do you have any other favorite scenes?
SPEAKER_02Nope, that was it for me.
SPEAKER_00All right, so let's get into chemistry uncorked now. Which bottle are you going to uncork for their chemistry? We have the grand reserve, which is electric
Irina Scene And Favorite Moments
SPEAKER_00chemistry, fire. Estate chemistry, which is warm chemistry, or house wine, forgettable, or lacking chemistry. Which one did you think these two are?
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna go with estate. I mean, it took it the whole movie to get there, but I think I think it was kind of a warm chemistry.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna go with housewine.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna go with I just didn't I didn't get the chemistry connection between them. Well, yeah, I mean, I guess they were kind of friends, but I just didn't think it was there really. Okay. I just didn't it didn't I didn't I didn't, you know. Yeah. I just I think of them in other movies and other actors that they've worked with and just how the chemistry I just didn't think it I didn't think it clicked here really that much.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00I like both of them, but I just didn't think it clicked.
SPEAKER_02Nah.
SPEAKER_00All right. Did you have any wait what? Wait what moments, which could be either unrealistic or just things that you noticed that might be like an Easter egg or a mishap of editing.
SPEAKER_02Yes. And that was I thought Megan was married because she had a random.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you did. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02She didn't. And the last house, the last Alex house, um, Alex Brown decided not to ring the doorbell and just lay the package down. And while she was talking to Jack and they were confessing their love for each other, Megan went up on the porch and rang the doorbell.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, it was kind of funny.
SPEAKER_02And then when the guy comes out, he's like, hey, you know, and he's sweaty, which is what she manifests. Right.
SPEAKER_00She says, sorry, I'm all sweaty.
SPEAKER_02And I was like, wait for you. I thought she was married, but she wasn't. So that was a wait, what for me?
SPEAKER_00Well, you noticed a ring on her left finger, and I don't know if that was just a ring, you know, like a decorative ring. She was wearing it on the Yeah, I didn't notice it. You yeah.
SPEAKER_02So But um what about you? Did you have any?
SPEAKER_00Um, the only thing I would say is like, would a guy really make a girl sit in the back of a delivery truck like that? You know, it's giving serial killer vibes a little bit like get in the back of the truck, buckle yourself. I don't know, and just it's like wouldn't would he really do that? And I know he was like a curmudgeon and right and all of that, but I just I was I didn't totally buy that.
SPEAKER_02I'm sorry, but I would have Because he was still a nice guy.
SPEAKER_00Yes, he was very nice. He's a nice guy underneath, right? The teddy bear, polar bear example they kept using. Yep, you know, let the teddy bear come out, you're right type of thing.
SPEAKER_02So and I had one more. Well, okay. Why a purple box? Did it did I miss something? Like what was the meaning behind the purple box? It's a good because all the other boxes were brown.
SPEAKER_00So it's a good question. Not sure what we would have an answer to.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So hey, if you're listening or what or watching, let us know if you if you know what was behind the purple box. Maybe we missed it. I don't know.
Chemistry Verdict And Wait What Notes
SPEAKER_02All right. Did you have any more?
SPEAKER_00Wait, what's no, no, that's okay.
SPEAKER_02Okay. All right, let's move on to cheers and jeers. What was one of your biggest cheers?
SPEAKER_00Um, I thought some of the banter was cute.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01It was cute.
SPEAKER_00I liked the friendships. I thought that that I you know, it was a little quirky and a little over the top. I thought it was kind of fun and that part worked.
SPEAKER_02Yep.
SPEAKER_00I really like I really enjoyed Ir Ir Irina, the character.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh, she is adorable. I love her.
SPEAKER_00I I think the whole idea of manifesting, I believe manifesting is a real thing.
SPEAKER_02I do too.
SPEAKER_00I I kind of like that they incorporated that into it. I thought that was kind of cool. I loved the um Fire and Aspire. I just thought that was a a cool part of the movie, also. So what about you? Biggest cheers.
SPEAKER_02Um, I love the fact that Alex remembered a piece of jewelry she made for a customer, Eva, that her husband had made for her. And Alex made jewelry, and one of her things was for you to give her information about either about you or the one that's getting the piece of jewelry, and she kind of designed it around that information, and she remembered it, plus the person that he gave it to. So I thought that was pretty interesting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And the fact that uh food is better when shared.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. Was that a quote in there somewhere?
SPEAKER_02Well, that was the bracelet she made for him.
SPEAKER_00It said food is better when shared.
SPEAKER_02And then it was dot dot dot anonymous.
SPEAKER_00Oh I thought that was cute.
SPEAKER_02So that was my biggest cheers.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Do you have any jeers?
SPEAKER_00Um, I already talked about the fall vibes. I wasn't really feeling it. I didn't think the chemistry was totally there. I um it's funny because like I didn't hate the movie, you know. Like I mean, the acting was good.
SPEAKER_02I just felt like the story was a little slow.
SPEAKER_00And I didn't understand the post-it thing. Yeah, I really I felt like that was I didn't get it.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Did I miss something? I I don't know. I just didn't understand.
SPEAKER_02It was just her way of communicating with just her thing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but no, but she used it for other all right.
SPEAKER_02Well Yeah, you're right. I mean, she had them all
Cheers Jeers Final Score And Farewell
SPEAKER_02over her house.
SPEAKER_00Maybe it was just something she needed to remember.
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I didn't understand that part of it. So about you.
SPEAKER_02She even made the gift out of the post-its when she when she gave it to Jack.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Um I I j I don't know. I just felt like it was the acting was good, the the supporting cast was good. I just it just felt really slow to me.
SPEAKER_00Like the production value didn't feel great. And yeah. So I mean they tried, there were moments, like you said, the calf scene where you know uh Megan and Alex are looking out of Alex's window, and Jack has put his calf on the on the what the bumper of the back of the truck. Yeah it's kind of a funny, cute scene.
SPEAKER_02So there were like some moments, yeah. All right, so if you could sit down and have a drink with one of the casts. A drink, a glass of wine. A glass of wine, I'm sorry. Which one would it be?
SPEAKER_00That is a good question. I would probably I would probably have it with I would want to sit down with Megan and Brooke because I felt like they were great friends.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You know, to to Alex. And I would just want to sit down with them and just whoop it up. I want to, I want to have a fire and aspire night with them.
SPEAKER_02That would be fun.
SPEAKER_00I think that would be really fun. And Alex could show up too, you know.
SPEAKER_02There you go.
SPEAKER_00But I just think they they were, yeah, kind of funny. So what about you? Who would you have?
SPEAKER_02I'd like to have one with Arena. I just thought that's a good one. Oh, yes, that would be funny too. That would be so good. That would be such a good glass of wine, right now.
SPEAKER_00Yes, it would. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So all right. So for the final pour, how many corks are you giving this one?
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna give this a three.
SPEAKER_02Three?
SPEAKER_00That's generous, probably from me, but but I mean, I didn't hate it. Right. You know, I didn't I thought it was okay-ish. Um, so I'm gonna go with a three. What about you?
SPEAKER_02That's where I uh was at.
SPEAKER_00That's where you are too.
SPEAKER_02I was between a three and a three, two, five.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_02But I mean, I don't know. A three it is.
